A period of extended wet weather could bring travel disruption in parts of Scotland from the evening of Saturday the 13th and into Sunday 14th December. We continue to work with the Met Office to monitor the situation 24/7 and will issue regional Flood Alerts and local Flood Warnings as necessary.

Storm Amy is expected to impact most of Scotland with the greatest impacts to be felt on the north and west coasts as well as the Western and Northern Isles. The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) are investigating an ongoing pollution incident in the Polton area that affected the River North Esk.
