Environmental Regulation (Scotland) Charging Scheme 2025
- The Environmental Regulation (Scotland) Charging Scheme 2025 (MS Word, 317 kB), took effect on and from 1 November 2025.

Calculating your environmental score
- Our Environmental Assessment Scheme (MS Word, 398 kB) explains how environmental scores, which are used to calculate part of the charge for certain authorisations, are calculated. Version 4, updated July 2025. March 2026: please note version 4 has been updated.
