Operation of an existing impoundment more than 1m high
This activity applies to the operation of an impoundment in inland surface water or wetlands that:
- is more than 1 metre in height;
- was constructed before 1 April 2006; and
- does not adversely affect the passage of salmon or sea trout.

Standard conditions

The impoundment must be operated and maintained to ensure it does not adversely affect the passage of salmon or sea trout.
The authorised activity must not cause harm to fish.
