River levels remain high as heavy rain is forecast across Scotland, combining with snow melt and leading to the risk of flooding on Monday into Tuesday.

As Scotland recovers from the impacts of Storm Isha we are expecting further wet and windy weather from Storm Jocelyn to hit the country on Tuesday.

The risk of flooding for coastal areas along Eastern coastlines, Orkney, Shetland and Na h-Eileanan Siar is expected to continue over the coming days due to a combination of high tides and large waves. Regional Flood Alerts and Local Flood Warnings are in place. Further Local Flood Warnings are expected to be issued over the weekend.

Coastal flooding across the North, North East, South West, Northern Isles and Western Isles remains likely today (Monday) due to a combination of high tides and large waves.

High tides and large waves mean the risk of flooding for eastern and northern coastal areas, Orkney, Shetland and Na h-Eileanan Siar will continue today (Sunday).

Flooding across parts of northern Scotland is expected on Monday and Tuesday as rivers respond to heavy rain.
