Purpose and recommendations

This paper provides the Board with important updates on significant issues affecting SEPA’s operating environment. It highlights areas of environmental achievement and concern, enforcement action and major partnership activities, as well as business-related matters concerning corporate performance and organisational activity since the previous Board meeting on 30 June 2026.

Information is presented under the headings Collaboration and Partnership, Public Service Reform, Transformation, Focused on Delivery (covering areas of delivery that can be grouped under our Protect, Improve, Adapt, Avoid and Warn headings), and Spotlight On... (featuring special areas of work that have an impact).

Board feedback on this report is welcomed.

The Board is asked to discuss this report, which provides assurance on the delivery of SEPA's activities since the last Board meeting.
