Chair and Board Report September 2026

Purpose and recommendations

This report provides an update on activities carried out by the Chair and Board since the last Agency Board meeting held on 30 June 2026. These activities have been undertaken to align with our strategic priorities.

The Board is asked to discuss this report and approve the updated Digital Board Champion Terms of Reference as presented in Appendix B.

The Board is asked to approve the closure of the following Board Champion groups: AOP and Corporate Plan, Biodiversity/Sustainability/Natural Capital, Communications & Stakeholder Engagement, Customer Experience & Awards, and Health & Safety; noting that these areas of work have been subsumed into other parts of Board/Committee business with some areas now requiring full board involvement following the Public Service Reform (PSR) announcement and Programme for Government launch on 1 September 2026.
