Purpose and recommendations
This paper provides the Board with important updates on significant issues affecting the operating environment of SEPA, highlighting areas of environmental achievement and concern, enforcement action and major partnership activities, as well as business related issues in respect of corporate performance and activity since the last Board meeting on 30 September 2025.
Work is presented under the headings of Collaboration and partnership; Public Sector Reform; Transformation; “Focused on delivery” (areas of delivery that can be grouped under our Protect, Improve, Adapt, Avoid and Warn headings) and “Spotlight on...” (special features on areas of work that have an impact). We welcome Board feedback on this report.
