  1. Thermal treatment of carbon fuels for charcoal or treatment of fuels

    Find out about the permit authorisation for thermal treatment of carbon fuels for charcoal or treatment of fuels. This is a Schedule 26 activity.

  2. Treating in vats

    Find out about the permit authorisation for treating surface treatment of metals or plastic materials using an electrolytic or chemical process where the aggregated volume of the treatment vats exceeds 30 cubic metres. This is a Schedule 20 activity however, be aware these activities may also fall under Schedule 23 solvent activities.

    Find out about the permit authorisation needed for the recovery, or a mix of recovery and disposal, of non-hazardous waste with a capacity exceeding 75 tonnes per day and excluding activities covered by the Urban Waste-water Treatment Directive. This is a Schedule 20 activity.

  7. Production of dyes and pigments (organic chemicals)
