Fire at battery recycling centre, Kilwinning

SEPA are supporting a multi-agency response to the fire at a battery recycling facility in Kilwinning, which started on Monday 8th April.
SEPA officers are working closely with partner agencies, have attended the site and will continue to monitor the situation closely.
We appreciate that this matter will concern local residents and businesses, and we would urge everyone to follow the advice issued by public partners.
