Your guide to the Flood Guidance Statement

This page is for category 1 and 2 responders, for example emergency services and local authorities, who use the Flood Guidance Statement. 

The Scottish Flood Forecasting Service (SFFS), a partnership between SEPA and the Met Office, produce the statement. It's an assessment of the Overall Flood Risk which considers the risk of flooding from river, coastal and surface water sources.

Using the Flood Guidance Statement

Together with the Met Office, we have produced guidance to help the responder community understand and use the Flood Guidance Statement (PDF, 7.65 MB).
