Statement of consultation arrangements for the next Flood Risk Management Plans
The statement of consultation arrangements explains how we will consult on the next flood risk management plans for the third flood risk management cycle. This period will cover the years 2028-2034. This includes when and what will be included in the consultation.
SEPA and local authorities will consult the public and other stakeholders on the flood risk management plans and local flood risk management plans. These plans will assess past efforts and incorporate the most recent evidence to identify objectives and actions. In doing so, they will serve to prioritise national investment, inform decision-making, and guide local delivery.
